Zomby- the mysterious and prolific UK producer, is coming to town. He started releasing music in 2007 and since then he has become a notorious figure in the electronic music scene- From bailing out on high profile gigs, to penning some of the most classic and influential dubstep/tropical/futurebas s
songs of late to even being featured in Lady Gaga’s live show, this
mysterious and shadowy producer knows only one thing- his signature and
incredible aesthic. His ability to skillfully negotiate between genres
is unparalleled by any producer. He has released music on the likes of
Hyperdub, Werk Discs, Warp and countless others. In 2008 he released a
full length album of classic rave inspired jams of the early 1990’s,
entitled Where Were U In 92?. As a favorite of Animal Collective, he’s
remixed and collaborated with Panda Bear. Couple this with the numerous
and incredible 12”s, EPs and remixes that have been aired over the past
five years and it’s clear just why he’s built quite a heady reputation
for himself. Having signed a worldwide deal with 4AD, the wait for new
material is almost over. Dedication, a wholly different record to its
predecessor, marks Zomby's return from his hiatus with typical style; a
dark and absorbing listen that engulfs the listener, running between
sparse electronics, techno hooks and minimal piano riffs.

Machinedrum has produced and composed several albums under various aliases since his first independent release in 1999. No stranger to San Francisco, he returns to celebrate his highly praised Rooms album, an offering from Planet Mu. His debut Now You Know, was released in 2001 on the influential Miami-based Merck Records under the name Syndrone and gained worldwide attention and praise from musicians, fans and critics in the IDM scene. It was heralded as the "standard to which the next wave of imitators aspires" by Pitchfork.com His side project with Brooklyn’s Praveen Sharma, Sepalcure, has seen great sucess- countless remixes, and 2 EPS- even a feature song curated by Mary Anne Hobbes for her 2010 film Black Swan.

This dude needs a bio. Or maybe he doesn't, regardless... I have to write something. His songs are great. He is from the Bay Area. I like his many different haircut and beard styles he wears from time to time. He makes synthesizer based sex music, ranging in all tempos, but mostly dubstep freeze-dried mango chunks, mixed with some cocoflakes, nahmean? A man of RC Cola, Cooler Ranch Doritos, girly RNB jams and netflix, this man has rocked more shows than you have, playing not other people's music, but his very own. It proves that hard work pays off, asshole.. so leave your massive synth presets at home. NastyNasty is coming back to San Francisco to wet your girlfriend's panties.

Atlanta based producer, and part-owner of EMBASSY RECORDINGS Distal has found himself rapidly building an internationally familiar brand in 2011. Combining time travel with dance music Distal breaks down the more ambiguous sounds from the past and fuses them with thoughts and equations of the future. Because of this non-traditional approach to Dubstep, Funky and Techno, Distal has been forced to take a few risks, but along the way has created a very specific and friendly sound for himself.
(In the unlikely event of a no-show by Zomby, reimbursals will be given)
